Ill break that record, it wont stand a chance. Its only a matter of time. I definitely had the car pretty dialed in for the first time out on the setup just going off what I knew would work. Some small changes to two step rpm, little bit lower tire pressure, and hitting the shifts quicker will make a world of difference and after that the power will show for itself the rest of the way.

The record of worlds fastest b chassis vehicle will be mine and this country's fastest fwd SR period. Then it will be off to enjoy competing in events with the Honda boys and show them the FWD nissans can still be back in the running.

I can't wait to see the runs and times!!

And yes you will have some competition for those records!
can't let u have all the fun alone

lol,

Yeah, Im comin for his time......FWD will own AWD in this case. lol. 60k for a gearbox though....Wow and still had issues with it after only a couple passes. Should just convert that thing FWD and put a 6 speed in it.

Ill break those numbers all on a stock gearbox and stock axles.

I couldnt imagine spending that much just on the trans.

Also, I see more potential from the GTIR if they can get the gearbox to stop giving them problems. Driver needs to learn how to launch though. Take some lessons from the DSM guys. Needs more rpm and boost and come off the line on the preload and slip the clutch the rest of the way to the point it tries to break the back tires loose. Much easier on the trans than that bunny hop and should shave .1-.2 seconds off the 60.

I was watching the DSM shootout vid from last weekend and those guys really know how to launch their awd cars well.

IDK, hard to say. Im sure that billet case was not cheap. I know what the readily available b and k series billet bellhousings go for and its got a complete billet case. That cant in any way be cheap.

Even a sequential box like the big supras and so on use are not 60k. More like 15-20k from what ive seen.

So figure the bellhousing, labor, dogbox gearset, diff work, and so on and the amount of times its been broken, taken apart, and put back together to test. I bet you its getting close to that amount in the box total.
