Dunno until he takes it apart. Nothing went through the block as far as I know but bearings are wrecked I think.

It drives off of the crank with a gear and belt, like a timing belt. You run a special oil pan that doesn't store the oil so you have less chance of the oil messing with the crank during rotation which means you need a tank for the oil. It sucks the oil from the tank, pushes it through the engine, then back to the tank, like a P/S pump. It's kind of expensive though. On the B14 race car I bought the guy started to do it but it's to expensive for me to finish it up since the most expensive parts are missing.

I think just an External Single Stage Moroso Oil Pump and Custom Made Sump Pan Kit can work for much cheaper but Mazworx (only company doing em for SR) Is making the Full Dry Sump Kit, $3600 , They should so an Adapter for Single Stage that can work for both FWD and RWD and two Aluminum Sump Pans , one for RWD and one For FWD , The Pickup for each (FWD and RWD) will be a different location due to where the oil rushes on acceleration ? mazworx you hearing me? lets ask em guys , we dont want broken oil pumps and Dry Sumps not necessary for certain Applications. Wonder What Mazworx/Hummy GTIR using? and Revving to?
