Any reason why you used crimp connectors instead of heatshrink and solder?

I guess it's just kinda hard to see, but looking at this picture it reminds me of the red crimp connectors because it looks like they're crimped at the ends

I see it now. Had to CTRL+wheel to zoom in the page and I can now see it's heatshrink. Good deal. Would hate to see mechanical splices used on this setup. One short and all kinds of problems can surface

yeah its all heatshrink, Most of the shrink is black but ran out. But yeah every splice is soldered and shrunk. I hate using butt connectors and refuse to use them on anything I do electrical.

It was definitely fun to do and pretty easy. You just have take your time with it. Everything that is not needed is removed from the harness. All my gauges are are wired into the harness now and I wont have that bundle of wires under the intake manifold anymore.

Well worth the time. I just wish I would have had the proper install/extract tool to do it. Next time I will know better to just buy the nice tool. Its just one of those things you wont use much so hard to justify.

Im very pleased at the way it turned out and just gonna drill the holes in the plate to secure the plate and get some sticky pads with the hooks to secure the harness nicely to w/ zip ties and it will be complete.
