For those that haven't read, the only other potential clue to this is no idle adjustment via iacv or in-tune. Once she's warm she idles at 900 rpm, period.

to save you from any further troubles, dont bother using ANY ecu that is not programmed for your setup, if you had a stock maf and injectors it would be ok, but you dont.

Yes but I'm not trying to operate my car on another ecu, just simply see if it'll start and even try to idle with a cold motor. I don't plan to leave my driveway.

how do you expect it to idle when its dumping fuel in like 2 chimps with buckets? not to mention the maf is SOOOO much different the air readings would be off the charts, might as well lick your thumb an stick it the intake.

I have really similar problems with my VE and have from day 1 also. Here's a list of shit I've learned.

1. cold idle likes richer afr's i've found 12.5-13.0 to idle better then 14.7
2. make sure your ecu is seeing your TPS as closed when its idling, temp doesn't matter
3. be sure the TPS is at the right voltages
4. make sure your neutral position switch is working
5. lastly try tuning it out (i know you said you've tried) but there maybe something you missed.

It seems he couldn't can correct amount of cold idle fuel ... he totaly cant idle without stepping on pedal ... so the cold idle fuel is the issue here ..
