I'm sorry, I failed to include...."first turn the key--->while throttling with my foot at 2k rpm." No, it still doesn't idle cold. I guarantee my victory post will be more enthusiastic than that, lol!

Is your close tps show on or off? To turn iacv on the close tps will need to be on. The voltage varies . Mine is at 0.2v. The spec call for 0.5v. At 0.5v it will show close tps off and it won't idle.

i had this on my b13 det swap....set the tps for .45 and it says throttle open....idled like crap for a couple days then the ecu learned closed position and now she idles great....<

I read somewhere about the ecu reading the tps closed to put it in "idle mode," or as you say turn the iacv on. You have your tps set at .2??? The oem tps range is around .5 up or down .05. .2 seems quite extreme. At .2 you don't have any other idle issues and it'll idle closed? Where do I view tps open/closed??

please perform a few test

1) unplug the AAC connect ( not FICD ) , and start the engine in morning .. and let me know the reading on AEM UEGO
2) Check if there any vacuum leak before MAF.
3) if you free to do this, check your temp sensor resistance
it should be around this result

33C = 1510 Ohm
75C = 395 Ohm
100C = 206 Ohm

Need more information for your engine.
Engine ?
Injector. ... stock ?
ECU ?
Have you replace the coolant temp sensor before ?
Rpm at hot idle ?

1: AAC you mean the AAC under the intake runners or the iacv? They are often confused. I dont know what the FICD is...but the car won't idle so I'll have to throttle it for an AFR reading. What rpm would you like me to throttle it to?
2: vacuum leaks before the MAF? That would only include the air filter. I'm on an oem like draw through setup
3: Im not quite sure how to do that but i'm sure i can with a little instruction. I have a multimeter.

The rest of your questions can be answered in this threads entirety. But it's a usdm head and avenir block. Injectors are 555cc. Ecu is calum realtime. Coolant temp sensor was again just replaced a week ago with a brand new one. When warm, the car idles at 900-1000 rpm.

As stated in this thread, idle speed cannot be adjusted via laptop in realtime or idle screw on the iacv.

1) Unplug your FICD and try start your engine in cold
2) Actually i mean the ram pipe in between throttle body and maf sensor , check and make sure all connection is good
3) You need a thermometer to do this test, take out the temp sensor and dip it into water with known temperature for about 1 minute and take the resistance reading by touching the lead your multimeter on the 2 pin of temp sensor, only dip the partial of the sensor.. only the tip .

4) please let me know your afr of hot idle ...
5) turn the idle screw to max and tell me the idle afr and rpm
6) Have you by-pass the coolant connection that goes into the bottom of throttle body ?
7) Please take a close and clear picture of your throttle body, your cold idle issue might similar to this

The consult will show tps close or open. The spec call for 0.5 to 5.0v. I can't get it show close higher than 0.2v. It'll idle fine at 800rpm at 0.2v close.

Kenny I will get back to you with test results. As far as connections I've been Over them numerous times. The coolant sensor is brand new and like the last one, it turns on the fans at the appropiate temp and gives a temp reading on my laptop in line with my autometer gauge. And I'll say it again, I don't know what an FDIC is.

Zurud were your idle issues cold specific or anytime? Can you adjust idle speed with iacv ideal speed screw? I cannot.

Googled it, ficd: fast idle control valve.

Ok, so I'll ask again..it won't idle cold without my foot on the throttle so at what rpm do you want me to take an AFR reading with my foot on the throttle to force an idle?
