You could delete the whole iacv.And make a plate in its place,and crack your throttle body screw so your throttle stays open enough to hold your idle.Thats what i did on my set up.

Starting to sound like a GREAT idea!!! I'd rather it function properly though. What'd you do about the AAC? You leave it or remove it and simply run a hose? Or block that too?

EVERYTHING! Some gauges read vacuum in - PSI and it doesn't equal inHg.

It lets us know how much vacuum your engine is creating, so we know how well the intake system is sealed and how strong each combustion event is. Why did you tell us "10" and "15" if you didn't think it was useful?

True true...but just for the sake of argument, you knew what I meant when I said psi, right? Lol!

I today acquired an iacv at the junkyard. I was unable to score an AAC, unfortunately. I didn't bring a jack and the AAC is otherwise impossible to reach. I'm going to remove my AAC and run a straight hose to then rule out the AAC either way.

If anyone needs NX parts lemme know, that was today's iacv donor. it's an automatic and fairly complete.

UPDATE: junkyard iacv installed, no change. It's raining. Tomorrows a new day :-(
