So which pipe was blocked again?

Tap the link provided by me here in post #217. The very first post there by Vadim shows a picture of his hose routing...the bottom left labeled "IACV breather" was the culprit. It's suppose to go to the intake just before the throttle plate. I didn't have a bung on my piping and the hose I had stuffed with a bolt and hose clamp...for whatever reason.

So you had no air going to the main idle control mechanism? The mechanism that houses the plastic idle screw, the main idle valve, and the fast idle valve?

Yes? Now seeing it all hooked up and having a better understanding, the intake manifold wasn't drawing any fresh air with the throttle plate closed and this line not hooked up. I'm somewhat baffled now that it even idled at all!

Sounds like you have another air leak someplace, do a boost leak test and patch em all up .

No silly, I was referencing Bens inquiry. My response was pertaining to before this past weekend when she didn't idle still. Shes running great now other than the tune being a bit outta whack. But a boost test wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

I too am surprised it idled at all. I agree it would point to a potential leak still in the system. Or it was idling on PCV vapors alone.

You missed my point, but Ben got it .

Basically we are shocked it even would idle with no IACV, which means you have a leak someplace. Now I've seen throttle bodies (mainly bored out ones) have rather large openings, which would do the same thing.

Ohhhhhhh, touché! Silly ME! Lol!!! I understand now. That would also possibly be reason my cold motor AFRs are lean, hovering around 16.0, which then oddly become slightly rich once she's warm, 13-14. I'm still working to source a VE valve cover to delete my crazy relocated oil catch can setup. Once that is complete (soon I hope) I will smoke her down for leaks. You guys are great! Thank you, again.

Shoot, this may be why she won't hold 14psi to redline after 5.5k rpm. Maybe my 300whp t25 setup will still happen!!! :-)

Although she did idle warm, it certainly wasn't perfect like it is now. For example: while driving if I were to stick the clutch, RPMs would fall as low as 3-400, sometimes just stall right out.
