Thread: Cams?

I was thing about upgrading cams in turbo sentra. What would be the best cams to get?

Miko and many others say countless times in many threads here that the best turbo DE cams are the JWT S4 cams. I'm inclined to agree.

And they sound great too

I have some s4's i just took out if you are interested. Let me know.

Do I need to replace anything else when i put in the new cams?

With JWT S series cams you can use stock cam gears, springs and retainers. With the C series cams you have to do springs and retainers and I think cam gears to get the most power out of them.

You do not really need springs and retainers in C1 cams, however.

I run cams with a little bit more lift than S4s on a stock valvetrain.
