Thread: Finally got to drive my B14 again!

My 200sx has been down for a while since I had to replace several drivetrain components. While it was down, I decided to rebuild the engine, change the entire turbo setup, and make several upgrades. I tested it here and there with the wastegate spring at 7psi, then 12, and today I finished testing and tuning at 18psi. I've missed driving this thing SO much! And when that thing hit 18psi with the A/F's spot on, it was awesome. When I came back, my 15 year old daughter wanted me to take her for a ride in it. Last time SHE was in the car it was still N/A. SHE even had a huge smile on her face when I mashed the gas in third, and glued her ass to the back of the seat. Needless to say, she said she wanted a car that sounds like that when she turns 16.

Sorry for the long read, but I'm just elated right now to have my 2nd love back! I'd also like to thank zer099 for the stepdown harness, John at J-K Tuning for the ecu, Thomasf36 for the mani, and anyone else I got great parts from that made this possible! Also, a BIG thanks to everyone here that helped me in any way!

Thanks guys. Took it into town today to do a little running with my wife. First time she's been in the car in about 1 and a half years. Heck, that's what I was driving when we met! It was a great feeling of nostalgia. The engine and exhaust sounds incredible. The exhaust note is so stout and powerfull, even all the mustang and corvette drivers were turning their heads today! It's a great feeling when everywhere you go, everyone takes a second look. Especially when the turbo spools, and the blow-off valve lets go.
