Honestly you can't go wrong with Exedy. I HAD an Exedy OEM clutch pushing 8 psi for almost a year, around 10,000 miles and the disc still looks awesome....

I'll try and take a pic of the disc....

Honestly it would slip at around 5k rpms, at 8 psi, but it would hold down low , i was expecting to see a burnt up disc, but to my surprise it hadn't even been broken in!

I was so impressed with Exedy stuff i decided to keep the PP and throw in an ACT 6 puck and it grips like a friggin cat at 10 psi.....When i took the PP out it was still smooth as when brand new.....I love Exedy !!

I checked right now. They do have prices like you mention. I was quoted $255 shipped from a vendor on zilvia.net.

Did it slip because you didn't break it in? how much power were you pushin?

The disc looks in great condition.

i'm gonna have a t25 set up in a couple of months

No, i broke it in properly. Babied it for the 1st 1,000 miles, ddnt go over 4k rpms....

It slipped because it wasn't meant for boost, it was the OEM Exedy replacement.

When my 4 puck kit took a dump i couldn't afford to buy an ACT kit at the time, so i went with Exedy P/N KSN02 direct OEM replacement. Didnt boost over 8 psi, and it held pretty good, i was able to get to work and whatnot.

I decided to go with a 6 pck ACT disc with Exedy PP for my DD, and it grips like crazy...

No more slippage.
