that clutch setup would be good for morepower so you will becovered if you go over the ammount of boost you are initially looking to run

the turbo set-up posted is so temporary that I can't even begin to describe to you...

do you think the set-up would hold with :
  • 680cc Precision Injectors
  • Z32 MAf
  • Calum ECU
  • GT2871r @ 10lbs

I have the ACT hd pp and 6 puck sprung and its great for me on my t-25 14lbs. I think the hd and 6 puck are supposed to hold like 320 ft lbs tq or something.
Also like everyone else said, the 4 puck is going to have a very harsh engagement. The 6 puck is better but the best to drive (if you have to commute and are in traffic) would probably be an extreme pp with the street disc. That will hold a little more or the same torque as the hd with a 6 puck.

That may have been the pressure plate and not necessarily the disc. Usually a clutch slips because it is worn or the pressure plate cant clamp down enough to handle the power. Unless the disc was totally annihilated.

PS... this is not a daily driver, not really a track car either. More of a weekend warrior!

im running clutchmasters fx400 with jgy 8lb flywheel, i dont think you can overcompinsatea clutchwith a turbo setup, esp if its no going to be a daily, then how the clutch feels doest really matter, altho with my setup i think i coulddaily drive it, itsrelly not that bad

So I ended up going with a HD pressure plate and 6-puck sprung disc, which equates to a stg.2 I believe. Either way, can't wait to fill the better grab it will have. Especially with the increase in power that I have coming!

Check ebay for the exedy stage 1. I'm going with that kit also. Search for exedy (part number) and they go for I think 270+ shipping I believe. Can't remember off the top of my head.
