I was looking into running a Holset HX35 for a long time. Once I found out the compressor housing is 9.8 inches in diameter I started to get iffy on the fitment and changed the route I was going. If you can make one fit let me know because I wanna do this also. I'm definitely subscribed.

I run a HX35 with the 12cm housing and i use a stock manifold with a T3 flange and stock radiator. It's pretty close... I'm in the process of fixing a few things and making a new manifold so I might be selling the mani I have now.

They do spool quick from what I hear, but I was used to a T28 so it feels slow in how early it spools. Also my car was untuned so I am sure that had something to do with it too. Hopefully It'll be out again soon and I'll have pics, up but school and family have been dominating my life so it seems a little unlikely.

It depends on the manifold cuz. The cast iron log manifold I ran gave me a lot of clearance with the turbo and the head when I had the SC61. The guy I bought it from said he ran a big .70A/R compressor housing and it fit with no modification.

The Protech log manifold Jason has we had to grind away at the head and the valve cover to clear. Thats with his t3/t04e with a 60 trim housing. I wish I could find you the manifold I had or knew who made it. I feel like it was an old school fmax unit or something. It was ugly but did the job and would have worked perfect for this turbo.

Man....wish you would have brought this up a couple months ago. I had a HY45 I would have given to you. I wanted to use it, but I just wasn't willing to take the time to switch the turbine side. It was off a Cummins diesel, and had a little over a 1.0AR turbine. Had about 40K miles on it. Plus, it was a heck of a squeeze to cram it under the hood.

i do a 40ish 45 roll in third gear at 20psi and tear some 205-50 16 star specs up and my suspension and alignment are pretty good. i have an eqlength manifold and e85. but my car feels well into the 400's. ill try to take a vid this weekend. my buddy wanted me to use his hx40 for awhile but ive got alot of confidence that where im at right now with my setup ive got a low 7 second car at least at high high 90's..... ill get into more detail if ya wanna know...... but for the money. 7 blade compressor hy35's are rockin

I'm hoping to complete a setup within a week or so. This will be going in my daily driven NX. Just a matter of finding out if it will clear with a protech log mani. I've always liked the idea of a Holset turbo. A lot of people sleep on them and I hear nothing but great things from thr DSM crowd about them.
