^^Refer to my post above.

And I am using a turbo with a 1.1 A/r now on my gtir so your point is what? The 45 isn't much larger than the 40 also. And just in case u are wondering, I have a hx52 as well.

This is the turbo.

Next to my old GT2871R. I talked to another forum member who is running an HX35 which is quite a bit bigger. He is using a bluebird mani with a t3 flange and it works on his car. I'm going to see if I can find somebody local to weld my manifold and make a custom dp.

No. I can't remember the placement of the Turbo on a bb mani that's all. I know it's different than the gtir

Sweet 7 blade, I think people forget about the hy's because everyone wants an hx so bad when if you are I'll informed and get an 8blade hx35 they flow the same. That and I can see my mid 400whp and mid 400tq killing alotta 500whp laggy cars this year.

7 blade is another reason i'm going with this. I'd love to have an HX but this will spool quicker and it's my daily driver so that should work out nicely. Once my SE-R is finished I might go with a top mount HX35/40 setup to make some big power.

How did you make out with this setup? Did you find someone to weld up your mani? I just picked up a hy35 also and have a gtir mani I need to get setup to fit it.
