the 2871r is an amazing turbo, to me i think its just right, its not toooo big but not too small, ive hit 22lbs before and its scary fast spool.

Not too shabby= 327 HP,311 TQ @ 17psi on the gt2871R.86AR turbo.
The MSD 50Lb injectors were pretty much maxed out I didnt wanna push'em anymore..
so im waiting on my nismo 740cc injectors to come in then I could turn the boost up a little MORE!
Stay tuned!

klassickrican, if you do not have cams the WHP level is ok. I would recomend not to go up on the boost. I would go for something a little more friendly to the motor while gaining large WHP.

You are at 327 WHP

With JWT S4 cams you will get another 35-40 WHP @ 17 PSI . Total 363 WHP.

Step up to 3 inch exhaust and an aditional 10 WHP @ 17 PSI. Total 373 WHP.

We generally see 370 WHP @ 17 PSI with mods above and 410-420 @ 20 PSI.

Great job.

For stock cams, that is great power.

You will have a much fatter powerband up top with the cams and exhaust too. You will hold power out all the way to redline instead of it tailing off at 6200 or so by the looks of it. Your power is on target. Just do the couple things to finish it off.

hmm, so you did all 3 pulls on 17psi? How much difference did you see between the 3 pulls?
