So whats a good place for a boost gauge to be hooked into? What about if you have an ebc and need a source for the wastegate where would you go?

any of the vacuum ports on the intake manifold will do. you can use the purge canister port just below the fpr port, or the one located between the 1st and 2nd runners on the intake manifold.

I'd suggest the one between the runners for your boost gauge.
i use the purge port for my bov. its location is closer to the throttle and makes bov response better.

I always use the large charcoal canister (purge canister) vacuum line for my signals. Use a vacuum distribution block or just a bunch of well placed "T" fittings and you'll be fine. Get your boost gauge source from there and your BOV source from there. If you are using an EBC then get the source for that from there too if you want.

If you're not going to delete the charcoal canister, then it is a better idea to leave it alone and get the source from somewhere else. You can source vacuum from the EGR system if you've removed that like most of us have.

If that's not an option, I would drill and tap the plenum for a dedicated vacuum bung and source everything off that.

If that sounds like too much work, then you can still "T" into the EGR signal line(s) and be fine with that.

What ever you do, leave the FPR vacuum line alone.
