safe is boring...

Has anyone ever used compression rings with a full copper headgasket? A lot of the boosted small block chevy's are using these.

You def. don't want to pave the road then...better off going with 90mm or less.

This has definately been done before. Guys were boring out DE's back in the day with 300zx pistons. I wonder if I could use DETT pistons from the TT Z like guys did with n/A pistons.

What does 87mm come out to liter wise?

88mm is 2.1, 87 is like 2.05. For turbo 87 to 87.5 would be the most you would want to go. 88 for na application is fine. After that sleeves are necessary

300zx pistons are 87mm anyways aren't they, that's not a huge gain. If you're going to put all the work into it, machining it, etc. Why not go bigger? Do it right or do it twice.

well imo the block build would be really expensive, personally if i did it i would go all out and go as big as possible and as stout as possible too. tis obviously going to be boosted, with big boost, i wouldnt take a chance of the engine failing becuase of a short cut
