i agree that its all n the tuning, what u use to tune and the parts you use for tuning ie: fuel pmp, fuel pressreg, inectors ect have all to do with how stable ur car is going to be

I was also thinking, I know that that the GT28R (aka GT2560R) turbo is rated to roughly about 300-330hp. Is this assuming at max boost? What is the max boost on the gt28r? With the RR engine, I don't want to make TOO much boost. I pretty much want what is hard to find: something that spools quickly, and makes more power at less boost. I don't really want to boost to 20psi just to get 300whp.

wat you are looking for isnt hard to find at all, its all about piecing together the right parts, getting parts that flow together and then tuning for all the parts used at xx ammount of psi. if you get the right parts you should be able to hit ur goal t 1 bar, you cant be unrealistic and want like 10psi and 300whp altho its possible but not without major blueprinting on th entire engine an turbo setup.....so realistic boost levels for realistic ammount of power

What do you recommend for what I want? If I had a regular sr20 motor, I wouldn't care, but with the RR, I don't want to go through the trouble of changing pistons and such, so like I said, I'd like something that spools fast, and makes around 300whp w/o having to boost to like 20psi.

well i would say that camshafts are definitly going to be a must to help obtain your goal, some s4 would do very nicely, and asfar as turbo its really hard to say but fast spool the gt28rs/gt2871r(.64ar) are nice turbos, youalso have totake nto consideration mostturbos are rated at BHP which will mean you sould deduct about 15% from the max bhp rating to ge the max whp rating. altho most of the times turbos re underrated and can flow more, the differences in the AR you choose will definitly help or hurt spool. obviously the larger a is going to push back your full boost and make more power up top like the .86ar but the .64 will give you fast spool while making great low to mid range power....camshafts ill also help on the pickup of spool and power, so i mean there are lot of varables to take into consderation.
