Clarity on some issues
Hail to everyone,

i'm seeking some pointers, i've researched but i cant find alot of info for the build i'm persuing, my setup is incomplete i have stock sr20ve pistons (cant find vet pistons and cant afford forged right now), det rods, 20v cams, .63a/r gt35r, port n polished head, tial 44mm wastegate, 2.5" intercooler piping, ebay intercooler 28*12*3, tuning with emanage w/boost pressure sensor, RC 720cc injectors, also have both gtir and avenir exhaust manifolds,

my questions are,
1. will either of the stock manifolds, cause reversion with the 20v cams and will this affect midrange power.
2. can the stock manifold support 400whp without excess heat build up in the hood (I will build a manifold eventually but my goal is 300whp for the street)
3. i only have 90octane at the pump is it a bad idea to go for 10psi daily?

How are you going to fit a GT35R on a gti-r manifold?

The gti-r manifold can support 300+HP.

10psi on a 35R will be a waste. On the street you will get butt-hurt, especially having to dial back timing for 90 octane. For you goal you may want to go to a T2 2871R or small 30R.

Sell me the 20V cams and Ill send you money and my stock VE cams then you take that

money and go buy a 2871R or 30R.

The 20v cams are better suited for turbo compared to the SR16's and SR20VE's.

Higher lift than the 20VE, less duration than the 16VE.

i'ld reflange the manifold to t3, my mech has fit a gt37 on a gtir mani before, all be it why would 10psi be a waste, what are your recommendations, i'm in jamaica and i dont see 400whp making sense for the streets hence the 300whp. i will take it to 400+whp for the track, i'm guessing at that point i'll need a manifold, but i need the car out the garage soon, its my daily

i can get a t2 flanged .86a/r gt3071 but would it be happy with the 20v cams or would i have to switch back to stock cams?

Well whatever you decide to do, i want dibs on the 20v cams

if you decide to get rid of them.

so what are my options, get vet pistons, lower the compression, run more boost say 15psi for the gt35r to make any sense for street use, given the 90octane issue?
