BC doesn't make a cam for this motor.

At 10:1 compression I ran 18-20psi on a 35R VET @ 15 degrees peak timing on 93 pump.

A year later I added meth injection and ramped it to 23-24 degrees peak. 3 years later the motor is still alive and strong.

I am now around 11:1 and plan on running the same pressure on pump and 25-30psi on meth.

those sound like really reliable values on that kind of engine, i also agree on the tuning, theres alot of honda guys out there boosting factory 10:5:1 cr engine, its all in the tuning, you cant get crazy and tune it like a lower compression engine, you have to take some needed steps in making sure you arent going to melt something with agressive tuning, even with higher compression and retarded timing values compared to a lower compression engine, you will still see great power.

is there upgraded cams that would be suitable with the VE?

There are cams out there ....but they are mostly Nissan parts bin items , there is only on factory turbo cam ( VET's ) but the stock 20ve cams seem to work great , and the 16ve cams are the next easiest to find , and then if you are on a big turbo and you can clear them ( you have a stock VE block or aftermarket pistons with reliefs) there are the 20V cams ......I have not seen anybody run the N1 cams in a VET app yet and there are a few aftermarket options from overseas , but I really dont know if there is a good Turbo grind out there or not
