Is this going to be a daily driven car or just for track? As for daily driven I can't imagine how big lag can be.
And personally, I love BB turbos compared to journal like this one, I have used both and journal need more care to last as same as bb and spool a little bit slower.
If I ever decide to upgrade my turbo, I would go for this one:
