Is this only because of the 20v cams?

Standard DET pistons work just fine in a standard VE on boost. What am I missing here?

Yeah the 20v cams are almost N1 like in the lift department on the big lobes ...I wish they worked , I have a set of them in the garage and would love to run them

Great info, so if I ever upgrade my SR16 cams to N1 or 20v cams will my 9:1 cp VE(t) pistons be okay?
