Thread: headgasket help

does anybody know what a 1.8mm cometic headgasket will squash to once the head is torqued down on a GTiR?

I believe the thickness is after the head gasket is torqued. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

well i got a vernier on it to measure thickness and it was around 2.4mm with me pressing hard on the gauge, so this kind of made me think what you have said. thanks man
