Thread: car breaking up during first run :(

I will bet you anything it is your plug gap... close it down a little closer to .024 like ashton says... just a little bit will make that difference...

Did you check for boost leaks? Pressure test the intercooler system to make sure u have no leaks.

Here's the update... I put the 370s back in and the de maf and ran it a few times down the street with the jwt ecu. The car ran better then before but still breaks up around low rpms driving normaly. Still haven't check for boost leaks yet but I due have a slight smell of gas in the oil. Keep the ideas comin in guys!

I have to admit... I didn't read ur post fully at first.... what iis ur fuel pressure at? Were the injectors u had initially 50lb ones? How is your cobra maf wired up?

My fuel pressure was at 44psi or 3bar and yes it did drive the first time with the 50lb injectors. Now I put the 370's in and stock de maf and it runs alittle better but still breaks up around 2000rpm. I had the cobra wired up with the red wire to the the orange/ blue wire, the green/black and blue/brown to orange and blue/red to white. This is how andres has it on the maf thread. I think...
