stock clutch question
hey i was wondering how much power could the stock clutch hold? i was driving around yesterday and as i was mergin on to the highway i noticed that my rpms went up all of a sudden when i stepped down on the gas. but i had now power so i tryed it again but eased on to the gas get it was fine. so i tryed it a third time and this time i got on it a little bit harder and the rpms went up but no power. i pritty sure the clutch is just slipping also how would i know when to get a new clutch?

of course your clutch is slipping, your car is turbo. You know you need a new clutch the second you modify your sr20.

I had a Napa oem replacement and it held my DE+T with S4's @ 7psi for longest time. Till I tried running 10psi.

any clutch will last on normal wear conditions and not redlining and all that. the horsepower wont kill a clutch the torque will

I know I saw somewhere on here that some people had problems with spring clutches. Would this be a good clutch I plan on have at least 330 hp. Its from act: NX9-XTG6 ft/lbs 414, clamp load increase 95, pressure plate N011X, disc 6214114, release bearing RB433, pilot bearing PB1012 for 583.00

Get the Clutch Masters FX300 (HDTZ) setup for $525. Or the Gspec stage 4 kit for $523. Do not get that ACT 6-puck garbage. WTF?
