You will be suprised how much cfm a 2"pipe will support.

All the Z32 guys are seeing significant gains going to 2.5" piping. Granted theres something like 30ft of intake piping on a Z32.

It's also mostly rubber accordion tube or weird plastic bits as well.

hmmm, I'm going to have to give this thread another look after I finish fluid mechanics. I know I made 286whp running rich on a t28 with 2.5" piping all around. Like previously mentioned, most of the gain in larger pipes is probably due to the larger radius of the bends.

Would it hurt to have 3" From TB to the MAF than 2.5 after maf to intercooler? Trying utilize one of Turbo Tanks BILLET 3" MAF housings to clean up piping. Which I may setup a group by for but it requires 3" pipe.
