SR20ve 10.3:1

SR16ve / SR20ve 20V - 11:1

the DET will net you more power out the box than the VE on stock internals .

For me VE-T was the way to go, i did consider staying VE Na but since i had the T28 anyway , i said lets do it

I didn't know the VE don't respond to the log manifolds... I think the GTiR manifold and T28 will spool too quick and kill your mpg. Especially if you do a lot of around town driving. I definitely think going to a bigger more efficient set-up will pay the biggest in response and overall mpg.

my NA VE didn't get 30mpg unless highway. I think I averaged 28mpg, 24 city and 32-33 highway.

Hell, my wife's auto GA16 doesn't get much better than 28mpg unless i drive like a complete sissy.

gas mileage = tuning

both could be great but if you get if tuned properly put some time on the dyno.

i would do VE-T for sure

I thought I read you had an O2 Induction manifold, did your gas mileage increase with that installed?

Sweet so it has enough compression to hold at least 10psi. I probably would run 6psi just to keep it low .

Do you think the small cam lobes would produce that much exhaust gas?

You had the JWT ecu right? I wonder if they were conservative on timing. Also your elevation is rather high, so that might have something to do with it.

Gonna call a place in VA, don't remember their name from top of my head. But might go with TiperJapAuto again.

I pretty much tuned all areas out on the old setup, I personally blame the OBDII ecu with self learn though. This time I have TunerCode and OBDI ecu, so it should be less of an uphill battle.

Never installed it, will be selling it to fund the VE .

yeah im not much of a fan on the self learning, i definitly would go with a vet setup instead of a det, more potential imo

Rodrigo, are you going to swap in the DE/DET pistons are you going to keep on using the VE pistons?
