Which Bottom end
Which bottom end is better the high port or low port.

Pretty sure they are the same. Just different heads. Unless your talking about the RR motor.

same, lowport head flows a little better

yeah, lowport flows about 5-7 hp better with just using cams from a highport.

I wonder which head is easier to port/polish and which actually flows better after its ported/polished.. i'm sure a valve job would yeild similar gains on both heads..

oh wait, this is a bottom end thread.

1991-1999 G20s all have the same bottom end. The heads changed during that time span. 91-93, 94-96, 99(same head slightly different intake manifold). From 2000-2002 the USDM sr20s came with the RR motor, which has no girdle and a 4 counter weight crankshaft.

I'm assuming you mean better for turbo? If it was me I'd go with the early blocks as they come with the main bearing girdle.
