i unplugged the cts and it died, the aem doesnt throw codes, but ive checked all the sensors and they look to be all right all of them were in correct parameters.

with a map sensor would a booost leak cause a rich condition?

does anyone have the value for the CTS???

when they fail they do what your talking about.

yea ive had 2 fail on me, but the one in it right now shows good signs, normally a bad cts will either go to a too hot temp or too cold causing both to have rich symptoms.

mine was reading correct temps and correct voltages so i doubt its that

Idling? That's too high for idling. You idle around 30 kPa right? Then fuel pressure should be about 2.3 bar at idle. You're at about 2.7 bar.

sounds like maybe failing FPR then.

i run 43psi at idle, 40psi with the vacuum off.

You running top feed injectors or side feed? Is this happening on all cylinders?

im running 70lb msd top feed injectors. its doing this on all injectors as when i pulled the spark plugs all of them were fouled, which to me indicated that it wasnt one particular injector problem it was something else.

can i run a stock fuel pressure regulator? im running a walbro 255lph and running 3 bar fp

this is happening on all cylinders so leaking fuekl injecdtors is probably out, i am heading out to the junk yard to get a factory FPR and see if it makes a differences, if it doesnt then i am at a loss cause i have check double checked and am at a loss right now

Yes. That would be a good test.

ok so i had a REALLY F'd UP time at the yard, it took me 2 hours to get the sr20de fpr off the screws ended up stripping so i had to basicly pull the whole top half of the engine off to get to the fpr and THEN had to get my pliers and thank god got the screws off and was able to get it. THEN i get to the check out and it ended up being more than i had so i had to drive home about 10 miles and get more money then came back and got the fpr THEN

i got my fuel system off fuel rail and the fpr and i LOST a rubber gromet in the engine it took me a hour to find the gromet it was stuck in a groove that i couldnt get to i had to take the intercooler piping off the engine harness, unplug the map, tps, bov line, everything it was a fucking diaster!

well i finally got EVERYTHING back together with the stock fpr on, and it SEEMS to run better, it is at least idling without almost dying out, the fuel pressure is still relitivly the same though like 38psi and i hadnt check with the line off, maybe the high flow fuel pump is buffering the fuel pressure?

im still rcking the fouled out plugs right now though i dont want to go and invest morem oney in plugs for it to just foul them again, might try cleaning them and see if it makes a difference or not
