Thread: fuel pressure

What should the stock fuel pressure be on my det. it turns on fine and then when i give it gas it just boggs out.i tried raising the fuel pressure cuz i figured it was too low and when i turned the car on it stayed fine and then the pressure dropped again. any answers to this?

Dying fuel pump or clogged fuel filter? I had a car once that had a pretty clogged filter and after a while every time I tried to rev over 3k it just sputtered and wouldn't go because of it.
