try and rent/loan a vacuum hand pump from autozone. Call first to see if they rent them. Advanced and ORLY didn't have it around here.

Use that to test your BOV. It should start opening somewhere below 20 vacuum.

ya 20 or less....over 20 it might not open upon throttle release. I think i see about 22 vacuum..maybe more, not sure really haven't paid too much attention during throttle release. Plus S4 cams push vacuum down a bit,at least at idle.
