Thread: Turbo still surging

I had the same problem when i bought a knock off bov. Bought brand new greddy bov and my problem was solved. The bov wasnt opening, always heard a blowoff but it was a surge. Ill suggest finding someone with the same bov tryin using it and see if it helps you

any name brand one that you can get a good deal on.

a dedicated line is one specific for just the blow off valve, just one line from one source to the blow off valve, one that isnt ted off or anything like that.

you probably need to adjust the spring

where do you have the bov line going to?

i taped into the egr block off plate behind the injectors

well it looks like you either need to try and tap into somewhere else, or the bov is just no good, ive had friends with knock offs and run then with no problems at all.

you might want to try and take the bov apart and see if there are 2 springs where you adjust the bov, and take the larger spring out and see if that makes a difference if it has 2 springs.
