yeah, but in an N/A application (nothing PUSHING air into the intake manifold) i thought they were saying that lift wasn't actually letting that much more air in... but with a turbo setup... i dunno... just what someone said... and yes i understand that how a larger opening (bigger lift) should flow better...

another defense of my post, the extended lift, without any more duration to allow time for the slower moving (unforced) air to come in will yeild better figures, but not as good as the turbo guys would see with forced induction in that small window of big lift...

it seems that with the same duration and higher lift, the valves would actually open faster, which seemingly would always be a good thing, though maybe not depending on the overlap

Now that the word is out about the S4HL cams, I wonder if anyone is going to be buying the regular S4 cams any more, at least new?

I know I'd rather buy a set of new S4HL cams than save a couple hundred on a used set of S4s, even if it means saving my pennies longer.

On the other hand if not as many people want S4s, then the price of a used set should drop. It may be interesting to compare prices a year from now.
