Intake manifold pics....need opinions!
I just wanted to get some opinions and thoughts on this, we just finished production on this intake manifold. Everything done in house. The engineering/ CNC machining of all flanges/ welding. This is not like the O2 induction manifold where stock piecing is used where it bolts to the head. We machine our own head flange. This may or may not be for an sr20.....

What is a manifold of this quality worth to this community? I know this sounds like a funny question and I already know pricing that I cannot go below. I ask this because this community is quite fickle when it comes to pricing and products, but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys on it.

Options for the manifold.....
Whatever size fuel rail you need: -6 to -10
Throttle body: stock to 90mm
Whatever vac ports you need.
Here are a couple pics:

Let me know what you guys think!!!!!

Looks pretty good! Now isn't it usually a common practice to raise the stacks a little higher?

^^^ Can I take a swing and say plenum (air) volume over velocity??

If u do that your blowing air into the side of the stacks
You want the air blowing In from the tops of the stacks

really its pretty much to the mfg at hand some people like full race have the stacks raised, some like ams dont they incorperate the velocity stack to have more of a flow transition into the runner which i could see having a better effect on air flow velocity if the transition is smooth.

i havent seen any 1 comparison between smooth incorperated velocity stacks and velocity stacks that slightly petrude out from the plenum base.

i thought full-race was selling hypertune billet inlet manifolds? i remember ages back i was going through the full race website and saw hypertune inlet manifolds but looks like they have taken it down now
anyways on the subject of hypertune
Hypertune - Performance Engineering

best inlet manifolds on the market
these guys are about an hours drive from my house ive seen alot of there products up close and they are very impressive

i was refering to when full race was making their own manifolds maybe 4 or so years ago, i had one on my b16 honda, it had the patruding velocity stacks to like the middle of the plenum, it was definitly a work of art.

im not sure weather or not alot of the manifolds out nowdays have the transition velocity stacks like the ones above which maybe they dont create any air turbulance disruption when the stacks are smoothly transitioned into the plenum verses patruding.

i havent seen a dyno sheet comparing the 2 different styles.

as far as the pricing goes on this manifold sniper it looks of good quality, for me its hard to say what a good price would be becuase to me it would have to be lower than the competitors to really gauge a huge interest amung the turbo sr230 guys. i know there are a few ppl out there like bj's,o2, the guy who made ashtons manifold and a few others trying to market the manifold.

it sucks becuase cost and the mfg of these manifold tend to take the price rather higher than alot like to pay.

its a shame we cant get to be like the honda scene and see a decent aftermarket manifold for like 300.00. something that isnt going to break the bank but gives you a little more power.

but since we dont we see some good mfg coming out with nice quality, however they almost always tend to run into the 650-1100 range which is alot for most ppl.

If a manifold like this could be priced for around $400ish you would sell the piss out of them. I'm sure it could be done if you spread the costs out over more pieces instead of trying to make your costs back all in one shot. And of course after the first few are made it will get nothing but easier. Jigs and all.

I'd thought about an intake manifold for a long time but price has been too high compared to other upgrades. I would spend 400.00 and be happy with the price, but I'd want to see one installed and dyno tested before I put any money down.

The other thing that has put me off is the pros and cons of the IVAC. From what I've read you want the IVAC for street use. Any one have any input on this?
