I'd say that you're okay, but still kinda on the edge. Then again, I'm no camshaft officionado, so I could be completely wrong here. I'm just going off of my experience, and what I've learned from other more knowledgable folks.

In hindsight, one of those more knowledgeabe folks stated that if you're revving the motor often, past 6800 rpm, you're going to end up floating valves (IIRC). It's not a matter of if, but when. Again, these are just the opinions from one individual that plays with cams on a regular basis, and also sold these for a period of time. I believed him, and bought springs and retainers as a pre-emptive measure, so I wouldn't worry about mis-shifting once or twice and over-revving the motor.

Im just trying to figure out what I should rev to cause I have the stage 3's withs/r and oversized valves....runnin an AEM ems. And an sc61, so should I just go with 8500, or up to 9000?? Tunability is no issue here since I can do whatever I want with the tuning....I also have rocker arm stoppers but am staying with the hydrolic lifters.....as opposed to going with solid lifters.

Rev to where it stops making power. Every motor is different. You will max power around 8500 I would think but you will need to do some dyno time to find out.
