Thread: Would you run these cams?

Purchased off another member, cams have some good scoring on them along with looking like someone tried to repair them in the past.

Should I be worried to run these?

looks like some one running them over reved and spit rockers and the loose rockers and shims tore up the lobes.

id demand my money back, i would not run those.

Cams has covered full hillclimb season, a lot of abusing and no problem.

That screams refund all the way!!! They looked fucked, that's not scoring there chipped.

Those are completely unusable.

Not worth the risks. Ive seen cams like that used in builds, but chances of them being okay are 50/50

I agree with cliff. They could work 100% and not have any issues. But it does look like these were hammered pretty bad.

that's horrible, who did you buy them from? and did they disclose this info?

I have run cams with some lobe damage and did not have any issues. If anything it will cause wear to the rocker arms.
