Thread: help with 6spd tranny parts

dont know if i posted this in the right place but i have an sr20det and im using the 6spd tranny, i jus wanted to know what clutch, pressure plate and flywheel are you guys using... right now i have an exedy hyper single clutch setup....and it doesnt look like they sell anything separate so what are you guys using?

lol. If you are one a budget the 6-speed is not the right transmission for you.

But, GSpec can get you the flywheel and clutch setup, and anything else you need for the swap.

I got a spec clutch rated for 490lb tq, and the Gspec flywheel uses the KA24DE clutch from the 240sx.

lol, nah the swap is done already....i dont really need it but i was thinkin about get a new flywheel and clutch setup...cuz the one i have now may be on its way out....well the disc for the most part. I was just trying to get an idea what u guys were using, thanks.

so what flywheel and clutch setup is in the car now? I'm headed that way (6 speed swap)

yeah, need to know what flywheel you have cause they're like 3 different size, 215mm, 225mm and 250mm.

^^^^ with the s15 flywheel clutch combo did you have to grind inside the p12 bellhousing?
