I do see quite a few pallets made of oak though. If it is knotty no one wants it, so it is almost through away.

Im excited to see more pics, Cage, engine bay, ect.

The cheapest pallets are made of softwood and are often considered expendable, to be discarded as trash along with other wrapping elements, at the end of the trip. These pallets are simple stringer pallets, and liftable from two sides.

The term softwood is used to describe wood from conifers.

The conifers, division Pinophyta, also known as division Coniferophyta or Coniferae, are one of 13 or 14 division level taxa within the Kingdom Plantae. Pinophytes are gymnosperms. They are cone-bearing seed plants with vascular tissue; all extant conifers are woody plants, the great majority being trees with just a few being shrubs. Typical examples of conifers include cedars, Douglas-firs, cypresses, firs, junipers, kauris, larches, pines, hemlocks, redwoods, spruces, and yews

Alder is the common name of a genus of flowering plants (Alnus) belonging to the birch family (Family Betulaceae). The genus comprises about 30 species of monoecious trees and shrubs, few reaching large size, distributed throughout the North Temperate Zone and in the Americas along the Andes southwards to Argentina.

Notice no birch's listed in the conifer division, of plants that are used in softwood...sucka lol

Supposedly the ppg gears are good to "only" 500 or "600" hp or so depending on the set of gears you get (and I do not think that is whp either............). They can (and HAVE) been broken. You just seemingly cannot get away from the overall design of the gearbox it seems

Is the case reinforced and what material is that driveshaft made out of and what are the specs on the axles??

Dammm, hummy's pulsar. I remember seeing that car make a 10 second pass and making a new record. Every gear change was followed by a loud explosion and fire from the exhaust .

This was in Grenada where he did the damage back in 2009

The real problem with these gearboxes is the outter case.

Ummmm alder is a softwood lol. It's used in cabinets because it is very porous wood that takes stains well.

Anyways, back on topic, I think its about a car or something
