I find it so strange that VET pistons have the largest valve notches. Those things are deeper than SR16VE pistons

they are also large enough to clear +2 intake and +1 exhaust valves.

look really very similar to stock VET pistons....

do they have a cooling channel with two holes on the bottom side? Do you have a photo from the bottom side of the piston?

Do these pistons clear the oil squirter/cooler on the DET motors? What's the part number on them?

Yes they clear. These are CP SR20VE 9:1 Pistons not OEM VET pistons. Either way both the CP's and OEM VET pistons clear the oil squirters.

Same pistons as I have except mine are still uncoated. Im not going to do any coatings on mine.

You can tell the difference between the oem VET's and the CP's by the valve reliefs and the gas relief port between the first and second ring land. OEM VET pistons just have a flat smooth land between the top and second ring.

Looks good man. Get it done.

They clear with no issues due to the short skirt design. I checked mine against a set of gtir pistons to verify prior to putting them in the motor. even at the bottom of the stroke they clear the oil squirter with a few mm to spare.
