If I wanted to make power cheap on an SR20 for "tuning" I would back off the distributor timing and for fuel I'd just add a steady state fuel injector to the intake track and actuate it with a pressure switch set for 1 psi or so. Need more fuel? Add another injector with a new switch set at a higher pressure.

^i've heard of a bunch of suby owners doing that instead of upgrading there injectors they would add one

That's the oldschool way of boosting a car over here. They used some old HKS or Trust device to trigger the extra injectors. A lot of people blew their engines that way but some cars ran descently. I doubt all 4 cylinders get exactly the same amount of extra fuel during boost.
