I wouldn't be happy with those. If the medium fails, the engine drops out of the car. Engine mounts are designed so that if the medium fails, there is still a full metal support preventing the engine from dropping out onto the road.

If you do that with P11 mounts and 65a urethane it will work really well. You won't have the issue of the 'medium' contacting the bracket or chassis and mount bracket. Once you tie them in much more vibration transmits into the cabin. This is why ES bushings have the worst vibration imo (and least effective)

OH I don't agree with how they did them, just admiring how well they came out. Perfectly shaped pro looking.

If I can't just fill the stock ones, I will probably get rid of the stock rubber and fill them fully with polyurethane.

Ended up using PL Polyurethane Roof and Flashing Sealant. We'll report back after it dries.

I don't know how well that will work. You still have the super soft stock rubber that probably has 100k miles on it?

Window Weld is too stiff, it's shore rating is about 60. This stuff should be between 50-60. Liquid nails was not polyurethane last time I checked.

Yup I left the stock rubber in place. At one site someone said that their stock rubber shore rating was about 50. I'm tempted to go get a gauge to verify now.

Not all polyurethane is the same.

This stuff should at least adhere pretty well and be weather resistant.

It may tear apart quite easily, however, as it's designed to seal static things (roofs) rather than act as a weight bearing bushing with lots of vibration.

I'd expect it to work as well as, if no better than the Windo-weld.

Not what I'd do, but let us know how they hold up.
