No the shop that did my tuning on AEM EMS did it while they were under there to fab the dump pipe

Ahh okay. Well I dunno how hard it could possibly be since it just unbolts and pulls off, but I may just have the guy at Turbo Auto do it for me.

I believe some turbos have a snap ring to remove as well.

the turbine housing unbolts as does the comp housing.

Simple. So I'm still working on getting a job. The manager at NTB just happened to go on vacation this week and won't be back until Thursday. I'm going to bug the hell out of him till I get to speak with him face to face about this job. I'm so tired of being broke. Buying parts will be my motivation to get this project going. I've decided I'm going to pull the engine and do a simple overhaul on it. Like I said, bearings, head gasket, head studs, redo the head, and possibly an oil pump from Nissan. Clean up the engine bay, put the engine back in, and get it running with the same setup I have now to make sure I did good work and let it break in a little. THEN I will begin to gather turbo parts so I can make the power I want. Possibly more reliably than if I had just thrown a turbo on it the way it is. Sound like a good game plan?
