I love the 2860rs, the 2871r is good-but-not-great, as with the 3076r. But the 3071r is a flat-out beast. It performs amazing in every car I've personally seen it in and seems to have better response than the 2871r. Still, it isn't as responsive as the disco potato.

The GTX2860rs would be nuts. There are rumors abound and it will likely flow 400hp worth of air with a 60mm compressor. Insane.

I have the 3071r and I am really curious to see real word numbers with the gtx series turbos on a sr20.

i vote the GT3076R

if your interested i have GT3037S aka GT3076R
but mine come with V band exhaust housings

exhaust housings available in .61 and .73

I think this thread requires build specs...

IMO....

If stock bottom end then = 2871

If built, I see no reason not to go 3071 to use your built motor.

have you tried meth/water injection in to the compressor inlet? Its rumored to shift the compressor map to the right for a gain of 10-15%

you could hit 500whp easy with it

Haven't tried the water meth yet. Still changing things up. I think I'll get the GTX35 and if it is too big I'll go GTX3076r.

But if I had a DET I would go with a T2 based turbo and keep the stock manifold. Unless I was shooting for 400+whp I wouldn't spend all the extra money on a nice tubular mani and bigger turbo.
