Thread: precision 62262 manifold

good job on the mani, I had the same problem happen to me with my precision 6262, u can cut the tab that stick out and cut the valve cover a little with a grinder but you have to be very careful. Also you can add another flange on top of the mani that acts as a spacer. Me i got lucky and picked up a log mani that fit for 200 bucks. I found that all protech log manis arent the same some fit different. Does the turbo clear the hood?

sorry to say i dont like those design exhaust manifolds
runners all merge together at 90 degree angles
runners should merge all at the same angle instead of running into each other

same here good manis are something u gotta save up for lol log with have to do for now.
I made 295 at the wheels on 15 psi. That was on a completely stock gtir motor with nothing done to it, timing turned down 10degrees, and AFR in the high 10s. That was just a base run before i install cams and get it all tuned right. Oh and pulls like no other cant wait to get it tuned right.
