Thread: what turbo is this??

picked up a turbo in excellent condition but am having trouble figuring out what it is. I know it has a 60 trim turbonetics compressor housing and a garrett chra and exhaust housing stamped .48. CHRA has 43068311. Only thing I could find was on some honda forum a guy was saying it was ball bearing. I've never seen a ball bearing turbo on the inside but this one looks like it has a journal bearing in it that sits under the compressor wheel but the chra looks like it has two ball bearings. Anyone know?

pics?. you could always measure the wheels. then at least you could narrow it down.

haven't gotten a chance to upload the pics yet. Think I've come to the conclusion that it's def. a turbonetics chra, compressor, and a garrett exhaust. I'd say some kind of hybrid. t3/t4 60 trim.

Turns out that it is a T3 super 60. Good for 22psi and 325hp. .48 AR, with a 1.900inducer; 2.367major and 1.929exducer; 2.320major.

Super quick throttle response and puts out some decent numbers. Guess it's headed to the classifieds...
