I didn't do the engine build, Shawnatgerbrock did it down in oregon. So I'm not sure how much money went into doing the head up.

on paper the VE head smokes the de/t

on paper the "b" series and "k" series smoke the de/t

on paper the Patriots smoked the Giants

real world can be different then paper, but most people put money on the Pats in Vegas for a reason

Built hondas consistently make power hp/liter for a reason too

the VE head is like a Hissan

lotsof opinions on this one for sure

Here is a flowchart I pulled off of alaniz's website; it is a worked s20de head

A stock VE head flows:

242cfm@.500" lift
171cfm@.500" lift

with this work done on a DE head the stock VE still beats it. I am not surpised, just FYI. A DE will need alot of work to get done in terms of bowl and seat work, to be on par with a stock VE head but it can be a bit better too or on par with a mild VE head. Then you need to put alot of money into it.

but the VE head flows less at .300" lift 195cfm for IN and 154cfm EX, so port velocity is carred out better with the worked DE head

If you got the money do a worked VE head and you will be all good
