Not true, my friend that owns Xact Dyno in Phoenix, Tim Kelly, has tuned multiple b series and k series motors to 400+whp on a gt28rs becasue of the superior head design.
Get the VE, it is a far better head, then have a hionda tuner tune it like they would a vtec turbo. Or take a q for nissan and disable the exh VVL. Your choice, you can do both and see what works better.
The VE head is the best flowing sr head period. Thats why Mazworx is using one on there s15 drag car they hope to hit 6's with, yeah 6's.
Do all the head work you want to a highport, will never flow as well as an equally modded or less modded VE head, thats just fluid dynamics. The math wont lie.
What great companies can make a de head flow better, Mazworx? They moved onto VE for their unlimtied drag car or whatever the class is called.
