Get yourself a healthy sr20de. Leave it alone. You DO NOT need all these rods, pistons, headgasket, ect, ect. Standalone is also way overkill for your goals.
VE oil pump is an ok idea, but also not necessary.
GT2871R good choice
s4 cams good choice
740cc injectors will do fine
walbro is fine
you also want:
GTIR o2 housing
3" VRS GTIR downpipe
3" VRS or other exhaust (mandrel bent)
Calum RT or Nistune doughterboard
good fans
ebay IC piping setup
I probably forgot some stuff, but thats a good start
Thanks for the advice man. It's not an obsession, I'm just looking at things in a different way. Mostly EVERYTHING needed I'll have to order. I'm not in the states so I can't just run out the road and get stuff. Ordering the stuff that i need isn't really a problem, but I also have to keep in mind that the government has to be paid 55% on the cost plus shipping of that item. I'm thinking if I need to bring in something then It should be of good quality and stand up to what I want to do reliably. The MAIN reason i was looking at the option of everything i had listed is because the motor I have already has a messed up crank ( and possibly a messed up rod ). I already came to the conclusion that the VE-T is not necessary for what I'm planning. So I'm now looking into a cost effective way of doing the build and getting great results.
Getting a fresh DE where I live is going to cost me about $ 1000 US. So i was thinking If i'm going to pay all that money for a motor why not build one and call it a day. So I'm now looking into the following
Nistune board ( got a workshop in Jamaica)
Custom 3 inch down pipe and exhaust
A pair of 12 inch slim fans
ebay intercooler and piping
GT2871 R
740 cc injectors
VET head gasket
Still debating on the DE or DET pistons and rods
JWT S4's cams
Start with this and work from there up. If there is another inexpensive effective way of doing this let me know( keeping in mind that I must go into this engine).
The mods you listed would probably be the way I would go if I didn't have to go into the engine. They are cheap and have been proven on numerous occasions. It's just that I need to do a little more to get to a certain point. Don't know if you guys understand where I'm coming from but I'm trying my best to explain and not come of as someone who's not willing to listen or take advice.
Might have missed a few stuff in the new list but that's the basic idea
