Thanks Andreas and 96_b14,
I know, I already have the boost bug and that's where I'm at with my W10 setup right now @ 14psi as I'm maxing it out. Part of me wants a setup that can't go past 400whp because I dont want to be spending the cash replacing broken transmissions/axles and other things to keep me in check.

anything can break just keep everything simple and you will get to your goal and have fun with it.

350-400 WHP is the way to go. This is in my opinion is the best all around turbo setup for your goals and will meet all of your requirements while keeping everything safe.

no prob man but like miko said if u just want something fun and simple its not going to get any simpler than what he recommended..... but if u ever want to make some serious power a t3 set up is your best bet..

I just did my friends 2002 G20S which has a RR head and JWT S3R cams. I put on a W10 SR20DET short block under the RR head with GT2871R and 3 inch exhaust and it actually made more WHP than any other head setup to 12 PSI other than the SR20VE head.

Really? You're getting my hopes up Miko! Would you care to pm me some details on how I can do something like this what to look for? Power?

96 B14 SE-R with a stock roller rocker, but have a gti-r manny bolted on to a 2871r that I bought off of Serban's friend down in florida. I have a det block because all the intake valves got bent. So I have the head all stripped but don't think I can use it no longer. But my roller rocker still runs.

fyi i had a stock roller rocker motor with det pistons stock ecu with emanage and a very safe tune running 15psi daily for over a year. before that i had a roller rocker with det pistons on the same psi for just about a year as well, the only reason the latter motor passed away was because of a clogged oil pump that caused the bearings to spin

run a VE oil pump when you build the next one and ut a girdle on it.
