More money for my turbo setup ....
It looks like I am going to be taking some money out to pay off my truck , since we are expecting a baby this summer , that way I dont have any more payments , intending to draw out another 4 or 5 grand to buy parts / finish my NX turbo project , so any body know if it is worth it to cryo treated shot peen a P11/B15 tranmission , I figure I could use one of those and , some forged internals , to compiment the rest of my setup , but does any body else have any ideas of what I should buy to finish it up .....

i had my b15 tranny cryo treated and shotpeened. it sees probably 350whp every single day (daily driver) and i have yet to see any problems with it. we built the tranny with the expectation of it making 500+whp so if you don't want to worry about your tranny, i would get it done.

it is sitting in the garage waiting to be installed pending the manifold being built .....it is a gt3076r with a vband housing and a tial 44mm , a greddy type r BOV ( it is going to be a love fab manifold ) and a air to water intercooler setup made for it also , as soon as it gets down there .....I am going to order another set of cams , as I sold the new s4s I had a while ago when was thinking of going witjh a ve head ...I figure I will either order a SR20VE and tear it down to put forged internals in it to make it turbo compatible or just build up the U12 in the garage or the factory DE that is in the car ...and buy some stage 3 BC cams for either one of those ...

I am still thinking of going vvl with it when I do the math I look at a set of stage three cams and retainers and posibly some headwork ( new shims ) and some porting , and I do not see much of a benifit in staying with the DET head VS. a VE head ...I want to order a O2 induction manifold also , but I have to decide on witch head pakage to run ....I might just switch to an AEM ems now instead of even running the JWT but I like the simplicity of the JWT program I hate having the money comming but not being able to make up my mind on which way to go with the setup...

i am running the aem ems and absoloutely love it, its very expensive, and with the wiring it takes on install and calibration setups and tuning needed for it, it gets even more expensive however i think its fully worth it. you definitly have to have a great deal of knowledge with the aem ems if you feel you are going to set it up and calibrate the setting on your own, or plan on a good ammount of tuning with it at a shop

The guy I would be getting the EMS through is pretty good with the tunning thing , he is friends with a guy that tunes (devin @AEM ) he has a few good base maps to get started with and he can help with the tunning of the car he is down state from me but it would probaly be costley ...
