I would take the extra time to run them now. Its so easy provided you have the stock lines. I love being able to just shut my car off and not have to sit there and let it idle. Think about when your late for work, you cant just sit in the car. Or you could just get a turbo timer, but that costs money too.

Oh, well damn i still do the whole cool down even with water cooled. Turbo timers arent that hard to wire though

No not at all, turbo timer harnesses make it a hell of alot easier as well. I still use the tt even with a watercooled set up, i figure i have a tt already hooked up i may as well use it.

your temps are high all the time meaning?

If your engine is overheating then its not a solution to stop the water from going through the turbo, you should just get another radiator...

You should fix this.

The coolant temps were high all summer. Ive hit 230* when I get stuck in traffic. But then again it was just around 110 outside

Im using this radiator: PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts -

The only time I have seen coolant temps anywhere near that is when I have a air pocket in the cooling system.

I have a t28, it has these connections on the turbo I believe. I've always just used the old school method of letting it idle for a bit before i turn it off, this thread has wondering me now. I dont DD the car, just drive it to work occasionaly and weekend toy duty, you guys think I should worry about it? I seriously have no problem with waiting a min or so before I turn the car off.

Its up to you man, It is extra heat added to the cooling system. The turbo gets hot as hell whether or not there is water running though it or not. It helps keep the turbo cooler no doubt but takes its toll on adding extra heat for the cooling system to dissipate.
